June 26, 2003—Eugene, Oregon

It was our first full day at PICCFEST. We had our first morning rehearsal, with Dr. Snow and Mr. Robb. There are 300 singers in these rehearsals! We had lunch then a choir meeting under a tree. It got up to 94 degrees today, but in addition to everybody bringing a water bottle from home, PICCFEST has provided everyone with water, and there are water coolers around everywhere. After our choir meeting, we had a rest period, then got some exercise on the way to the afternoon rehearsal. After that rehearsal, we played kick the can, ultimate frisbee, and had some sprint races on one of the UofO lawns.
In the evening was the second Sharing our Songs concert, with the San Diego Children's Choir, the Spokane Area Children's Chorus, and the St. Louis Children's Choir, the PICCFEST Featured Choir.
After the concert was ice cream, then back to the dorm for tour journal time and showers before bedtime.
