Port Orchard, Washington

back to the 2002 tour page

Today we took the ferry to downtown Seattle. We went on the tour of the Seattle underground. After lunch at the Seattle Center (home of the Space Needle), we returned to Port Orchard for our first concert. The concert went very well, and we were treated to ice cream afterwards! Tomorrow we go to Mt St Helen's and Portland!

We took the ferry from Bremerton to downtown Seattle, giving us a great view of the Seattle skyline.

Checking out the city underneath the city on the Seattle Underground tour.
On our tour, we were told all about the siginificance of the toilet (inevnted by and named after Thomas A Crapper) to the history of Seattle. This crapper used to be at street level, but is now underground.
