APRIL 30, 2008
On April 30, Pacific Boychoir is auditioning boys for the after school choirs. Boys in grades K-5 interested in being part of one of the Pacific Boychoir's after school choirs can call the PBA to make an audition appointment to visit on April 30. Boys in grades 6-12 can be considered if they have previous singing experience. Visit the auditions page for more details.

DECEMBER,

The Pacific Boychoir's spirituals recording, That
Promised Land, has been awarded a Trebby Award for Full
Choir Album—European Style (men and boys with boy
altos, as opposed to the English style of using countertenors).
The Trebby awards are online awards for recordings by boys choirs,
and come from voters around the world. The Pacific Boychoir tied
for the award with the Tolzer
Knabenchor's recording of music by Franz Schubert. For the

DECEMBER
2007
This
year, the Pacific Boychoir recorded two sets of pieces by New
Mexico composer Michael Mauldin. The pieces appear on the newest
recording of Mr. Mauldin's Music, Enchantment.

OCTOBER
2007
Hot
off the press, the new recording from the Pacific Boychoir! In
addition to the B-Minor Mass, Bach wrote four other masses, from
his time at the Thomasschule in Leipzig. The Pacific Boychoir
has recorded two of these masses with boy sopranos and altos and
an orchestra of Early Music specialists led by violinist sKati
Kyme.

WINTER
2008
The
Pacific Boychoir's day school is always on the lookout for talented,
achievement-minded students who are interested in making the most
with their treble voice while it lasts. Applications are now being
accepted for grades 4-8.
Appplications for the 2008-2009 year are due February 4, 2008
though the choir school has rolling admissions throughout the
year for talented singers.
