July 14, 2005 (Thursday) — Happy Bastille Day!!!

We attended the traditional military parade in the morning on the Champs-Elysees. After lunch, we had a rest period at our hotel and then to dinner and fireworks, which we watched from Alma bridge. The boys did a great job sticking together all day. The pictures say it all.

If you look carefully, you can see Jacques Chirac, President of France, driving by

Big crowd for the parade.

Adam and Josh the Younger got biscuits from this French family while we waitied for the parade.

Adam has been using Gareth's camera, and has gotten cool photos such as this one of a helicopter frozen in mid-air

French tank

French flyover .

The Genderme

Adam took this one as well from right up front

We park on Alma Bridge for the fireworks.

The sun sets as the moon creeps towards the Eiffel Tower

The PBA and 200,000 of our closest friends

They shot fireworks from the tower itself
