Camps & Retreats

PBA offers two week-long summer camps and three weekend retreats for various age and experience levels. All provide a safe, nurturing environment for boys to build relationships, learn personal responsibility, develop their musical skills, and enjoy the outdoors. This is a great way to keep students mentally, physically, and artistically engaged during school breaks, getting them excited about the arts and going back to school. Led by choir alumni counselors and PBA’s world-class staff, choristers enjoy as much fun and learning, in one week, as they would experience in two months of regular rehearsals!

August 4-11, 2018

Camp is an integral part of the PBA program where boys immerse themselves in the music and learn, in one week, as much as they learn in two months of regular rehearsals.  Working on repertoire for the coming year and getting small group lessons in music theory.

Camp is a lot of fun! With all of the non-stop activities, boys will come away with strong friendships and stories to last the whole year. To name a few:

capture the flag,
movie night,
scavenger hunt,
arts & crafts,
skit night,
banquet, and
of course pool time every day (2 certified lifeguards).
Aside from music, we work with boys on a range of skills like leadership, manners, self-management, conflict resolution, tie-tying and even things like how to change a tire.

The Counselors are all PBA Alumni, that's why we work so well with the boys. We remember how we could not wait to return to camp as choristers and work hard to give the boys an amazing time. We know how to handle homesickness, integrating new choristers, conflict resolution, and support friendship building.

The music staff consists of Andrew Brown, Marcia Roy, Stella Brown, Jonathon Hampton & Steve Blum.

There is still space to register, don't miss out!

If you want more information, or have any questions, look out for messages from the Camp counselors on the PBA Facebook page or contact the Camp’s director Seth at !

PBA's Overnight Camp is held at the beautiful Bishop's Ranch, an Episcopal retreat center in Healdsburg, CA in Sonoma.

We will update MemberHub with the Camp Guide and packing list as we get closer to Camp!
